Coastal Welding Supply, a Beaumont, Texas, family owned, second generation business was one of the 20 local businesses to receive the Texas Treasure Business Award from Beaumont Main Street.
The award recognizes businesses that have been in business for more than 50 years and have played a significant role in the local and state economies.
Coastal Welding Supply was established in 1963 by the late Al Mazoch with one location. The welding and safety supplies and industrial and specialty gas company now has nine locations that span Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.
Al Mazoch’s children, J.C. ‘Chuck’ Mazoch, President, and his sister, Barbara Mazoch Nelson, Asset Manager, accepted the award at the event.
